Euphorbium Complexe N°88 is a homoeopathic oral-drop medicine from Laboratoires Lehning, traditionally used as supportive care for oral herpes, lip herpes, and recurrent cold sores.

The formula contains nine homoeopathic ingredients: Euphorbia resinifera 4 DH, Mezereum 4 DH, Petroleum 4 DH, Arsenicum iodatum 6 DH, Rhus toxicodendron 4 DH, Berberis aquifolium 1 DH, Nitricum acidum 4 DH, Anacardium orientale 6 DH, and Natrum salicylicum 4 DH.

The drops are taken orally after dilution in a small amount of water and are intended only as complementary homoeopathic support for cold-sore-associated discomfort.

Euphorbium Complexe N°88 should not be regarded as an antiviral medicine and should not replace appropriate antiviral treatment or medical assessment, particularly when lesions are severe, frequent, spreading, close to the eye, or associated with systemic symptoms.

  • Oral herpes
  • Lip herpes

Usage Information

Euphorbium Complexe N°88 may be incorporated into short-term supportive homoeopathic care for oral or labial herpes and recurrent cold-sore discomfort. Cold sores are caused by herpes simplex virus, and this product should not be expected to eliminate the virus, reliably shorten every outbreak, or prevent recurrence. Appropriate antiviral treatment may be indicated in some people, particularly with severe, frequent, or complicated outbreaks. Lesions close to the eye require prompt medical assessment because ocular herpes can threaten vision. Genital lesions should also be professionally assessed rather than treated as ordinary lip cold sores. Fever, marked weakness, widespread lesions, severe pain, or recurrent frequent outbreaks warrant medical advice.

Storage Instructions

Keep Euphorbium Complexe N°88 tightly closed and store below 25°C, protected from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Use within 6 months after first opening and do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging. Do not use if the solution shows visible deterioration, and retain the original carton and leaflet for complete dosage, alcohol-content, storage, precaution, and product-specific information.
